Here are my favorites from this month! They include food, a few apps, a TV show and some beauty products. Enjoy ✨

1. Tofu

In January I began my pescatarian journey. It has been pretty easy honestly and a lot of fun trying new food. Recently, I’ve been eating a lot of tofu and trying different recipes with my mom. I like to stir fry tofu with vegetables over rice. I also like to make it with a plate of noodles and oven roasted vegetables. When I cook it, I usually drain and press it, then cut it into cubes. I then stir fry it with olive oil and a little garlic.

2. Pinterest

If you know me you know I LOVE Pinterest and I basically have my entire life planned out in my Pinterest boards. When I wear my natural hair out I usually don’t stray away from my braid outs and puffs. Since I’m home for the summer from school and have more time, I’ve been trying different natural/protective hairstyles. So recently, thanks to Pinterest, I have found some super cute and easy ones.

3. Mint App

I’ve recently been looking for an app that I can create a budget and basically manage my money and finances. I came across the Mint App. With it I have been able to create a budget, link my bank accounts, track and manage my spending and manage bills. I’m even more excited to use it when I get back to DC!

4. America’s Next Top Model

This month I’ve been obsessed with America’s Next Top Model and I started from the very beginning. I remember watching it with my mom when I was in elementary school and watching it now is so funny honestly. It’s crazy to see how much the fashion/beauty world and the world in general as progressed. From the thin pencil drawn eyebrows, to the spaghetti strap tank tops, belts, and low rise jeans. And realizing that smartphones weren’t a thing in the early 2000’s, so the girls aren’t walking around with cell phones. Also, when they go on their “go-sees” (this is when they go and see clients and basically try to get hired as models) in different countries they are in taxis and have paper maps because Uber wasn’t a thing then.

5. Lila grace moisturizing body butter

I’ve been LOVING this body butter. It has shea butter, lavender, and vanilla. It’s very moisturizing and it smells really good. I like using it when I get out of the shower to moisturize along with aloe vera gel.

6. Freeman hydrating glacier water + pink peony gel cream mask

Lately, I’ve been using this leave on mask. I use it at night after my shower. It leaves my skin really soft and supple and literally glowing the next morning!
